About Bonnie Fernandez

Bonnie's Background

Bonnie Rose is a California native who began taking care of children when she was just 14 years old. As a young adult, she studied history, politics, and literature, and completed research on the impact of drug addiction on families and especially children.

Bonnie became a certified public school teacher and taught for more than 25 years in multiple subjects across a wide range of age groups. She is a passionate lifelong advocate for the safe and healthy treatment of ALL children, and has devoted her life to helping people of all ages to heal from child abuse.

In her mid-40’s, Bonnie faced a serious and life-threatening cancer diagnosis. After her long treatment journey, Bonnie decided to go back to school to become a psychotherapist.
